A Day at My Paper Studio

Blog #5, my friend. This one’s all about about the daily routine, how the morning begins, coffee, music, how I cut and glue…

When talking about a day in my studio, I would like to start poetically – with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the first rays of the sun, but more banally – with a morning walk with the dog, because without him my work process would be over before it even began (if you know what I mean).

Breakfast and cuddles with the dog are a given. We love these morning minutes together.

I usually start my day by checking emails, assessing orders, analyzing metrics, making plans for the day, and deciding whether to stay home to work on a new project, document its assembly, take photos, or attend networking meetings, update the display cases, and write letters to new and existing clients.

The speed of work depends on the number of details in the illustration and the complexity of their assembly – my illustrations are simple in design. However, I can create them quickly, and it is always handmade.

I do not work in the evenings and prefer to finish everything before 5 pm. Work-life balance is essential to me.

I always spend my evenings surrounded by family and/or friends - all this relaxes me a lot and inspires me for a new day, and so on (it's never boring).
