This editorial illustration project was created for Cincinnati Magazine as part of a winter fashion and lifestyle feature.

I was commissioned to illustrate a full magazine spread focused on staying warm during Bengals games in winter. The main character wears layered, Bengals-inspired clothing, with visual annotations highlighting each garment and its function. The challenge was to balance clarity and storytelling — presenting detailed information without overwhelming the page. A second illustration explored a snowy landscape with people skiing downhill, contrasting snowy areas with green and brown terrain. The artwork also included visual elements explaining how snowmaking works during the off-season, blending educational content with approachable, character-driven illustration. The project was designed specifically for print, with careful attention to composition, color balance, and readability within an editorial layout.
